Is this an official DOD calculator?
No. This is an independent estimation tool provided by 406 Proxy, LLC. For official OHA rates, use the DTMO OHA Rate Lookup.
Why are the amounts approximate?
OHA is paid in local currency and converted to USD at the current exchange rate so your actual dollar amount changes every pay period. Our estimates use approximate conversions and are meant for planning, not exact figures.
My duty station isn't listed, can you add it?
We cover 30 major overseas installations across 6 countries. Email us with your location and we'll look into adding it.
Do I get OHA or BAH if I'm stationed overseas?
If your spouse lives overseas with you, you get OHA. If your spouse stays stateside, you get BAH based on their US ZIP code. Either way, marriage unlocks the higher with-dependents rate. Use our BAH Calculator for stateside rates.
